From Valencia, Amalio Burguet<\/strong> has been in charge of his own workshop in Catarroja for more than 50 years. He is tirelessly and constantly in search of a way to make the best possible guitars.<\/p>\n\n\n

A life dedicated to making guitars.<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

Amalio Burguet<\/strong> was born in Catarroja, a small village near the sunny city of Valencia in 1951. From a very young age, he developed a great ability to make guitars by working in various workshops. It was in these workshops that he made his first guitar in 1966 and became an expert in series production<\/p>\n\n\n\n

However, he admired the guitars that were totally handmade<\/em><\/strong>, hand crafted in a one man workshop<\/em><\/strong>. Soon he resumed his musical training, years of conservatoire and began to look deeper into the most artisanal aspects.This involved studying the treatment of materials more in depth, especially the treatment of wood and the construction processes
In 1984 he realised his dream, he opened his own workshop in Catarroja. It is here where he applies everything he has learned, making innovative high quality handmade guitars, at the same time affordable for everyone, students and professionals. In short, Amalio is the alma mater<\/em> of the small family workshop. A whole life dedicated to the artisanal development of the instrument that he is obsessed by, the Spanish guitar.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

A family, a team committed to the same goal<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n

The hands of Amalio Burguet transform wood into pure art. More than three decades of knowledge put into practice. Knowledge that he has passed on to his children in his small workshop which has now become a family run business. His two children, Vanessa<\/strong> and Damian<\/strong> complete the circle. Both are worthy heirs of the knowledge and concerns of Amalio, a perfect team in the tireless search for excellence in the development of this unique instrument.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
